  jammex lowering springs included (40mm)
  remapped to approx 120 by Shire tuning in FCS 2008
  angel eyes

only bad point is it has a slight dent on the bonet jsut above the badge from where a trolley was rolled into it but it hardly anything at all. Went to veiw car today with alexj37,took us 5hours to get there due to traffic and 4hours back.(250miles each way) took it for a short test drive and real pleased with it,power flows more smoothly then a normal dt, but i dont think its aroud the 120bhp mark so a rolling road wil be used in jan, all the power does come in tho but at the top end of the scale so i may have to get it remapped. buyer wanted £2k for it,i offered £1700 and he accepted,dropped a deposit off today and going to pay rest of next friday and pick it up then so i may be at the xmas meet after all,here as some pictures.

little bits of un update i finally got round th other day to actually de-egring the car so thats finalyl out of the way and today had my decat fitted the i.9dt decat does fit with a slight modification to the hdi flange as this is half inch smaller

had some time on my hands today which makes a nice change so i sorted a few things out with the car

splitter fitted
air filter feed sorted
battery cover on
general clean up on engine parts
throttle cable bolted to slam panel
new headunit in
headlight protectors on

full system from the turbo 1 long pipe and jsut a backbox with a 3" tail piece £269 so cant wait for that

Today spent bout 4-5hours up Xzorsts in Pyle with Rich and Phil, both are top guys and have done a neat and tidy Tig weld job of my new stainless system,well happy with the result,gives a very nice grumble to the car now aswell. top work. anyway ill let the pics do the talking.got a bit trigger hapy so ill do a review with loads pics in another thread but put the major ones in here

with that pic the metal "sleeves" were not stuck in place, jsut put on to ensure all level, sleeves are now up by the clamp to secure the decat

Right yesterday was a good day till me and scott(wolze) looked more closely at me car.(need more jobs doing that what i thought) great job done though, lowered 45mm on the back and 35-40mm on the front cant member what the springs were but its all level so im happy, had a bit of a scray moment when i was driving and could hear something scrapping like f**k, checked under the car and lucky it was only my headshield for the exhaust piping had fallen down. anyway heres the pics.

finally had guts to debadge it and also got rid of annoying rear dealer sticker
stinking casue i went to brummy land and back yesterday

well the other week finally had some time on my hands to get my new rear brakes on ,couldnt do front as i had the wrong callipers

new 307 wheels finally on(had to remove arch liner on back till i cut it to correct shape), gti brakes are also finally on with new discs(but not in these pictures)rear discs now on right way aswell lol

big thanks to Toby once again

removed the arch liner for temp so i can cut the right amount off cause it rubs with part of arch liner, so cutting that back, nothing rubs/touches when going over a bump or anything

new metal monkey heater dials fitted

this is what it looks like in the dark,looks better in flesh hard to get it right with flash etc

£21 including delivery, metal monkey dials with naturl finish and ice blue backing

few little updates,cold air feed from fog light,strut brace and finally got a Mr_Whippy remap (www.jacmech.co.uk) well worth the money. Cold air feed aint finished yet need to put some wire over the top to block any leaves etc,nice little touch with hdi badge aswell

Well i was driving round for nearly 3months with no rear mud gaurds ( no i did not get a wet boot either ) so decided to invest in some 15mm spacers and nuts,mud guards still aint there as i need some new ones cause i half chopped mine up to fit but couldnt be bothered to finish so sourced some complete ones,anyways heres some pics,nothing major.

clearance on jammex springs(bilstiens will be fitted on saturday by Toby so will see if there are any difference wit the springs both are 40mm)

bilsteins springs,struts and top mounts with new bearings now fitted,strut brace removed cause i want to see what its like without it,pics to come in a few days see if the drop is the same

still not sure on the hdi badge there looks wrong . . .
